Find the original performance
Watch Charlie Wilson: Tiny Desk Concert on NPR Music’s official YouTube channel. Look for Outstanding in the concert’s song list. The live arrangement is the reference to listen for when comparing an AI edit; a studio recording can sound different.
Who sings Outstanding?
The original song is by The Gap Band, with Charlie Wilson as lead singer. Wilson also performs it in his Tiny Desk concert. Charlie Wilson’s official website identifies Outstanding among the songs in that set.
Is the AI video a real concert?
The original Charlie Wilson performance is real. An AI remake changes the visible performers or creates a new scene based on reference footage. Seeing someone in an AI edit does not mean they sang or appeared at NPR.
Looking for lyrics or the exact sound?
Search for Outstanding by The Gap Band when looking for the song, and Charlie Wilson: Tiny Desk Concert when looking for the live version. For an exact edit, compare its sound with the original: remixes and shortened clips may differ.
Want to make your own version?
Our generator uses a character photo and a reference video. It does not supply a licensed copy of Outstanding. Read the template guide to prepare your material, then open the generator to create a parody clip.
