These Terms govern your use of tiny-desk-ai.online and its related AI video creation features (the "Service"). "Tiny Desk AI," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the individual operating this Service from Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Contact the operator at [email protected]. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Tiny Desk AI helps you create Tiny Desk-style AI parody clips from a character photo, a reference video, and optional text instructions. The current workflow requires both a photo and a reference clip. We do not promise that a photo alone will produce a finished performance.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Tiny Desk AI is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NPR, Tiny Desk, Charlie Wilson, or The Gap Band. References to third-party names describe the style or subject of a parody; they do not claim official status or endorsement.
Generated clips are synthetic. They are not evidence that a person performed at a real concert or participated in an official production. Make the AI-generated or parody nature clear when sharing, and comply with the disclosure requirements of the platform where you publish.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind it.
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share, resell, or transfer accounts to evade usage limits or payment requirements.
You retain any rights you already hold in the material you submit. You grant us the limited permission necessary to host, transmit, process, and reproduce that material to operate the Service, generate your requested output, provide support, and handle related security or legal issues. This includes using the service providers needed to fulfill your request.
You must have the necessary rights and permissions for every submitted photo, video, voice, prompt, and other material. Obtain permission from identifiable people where required. Do not assume that a publicly available image, a social media clip, or a direct URL is free to reuse.
You may not use the Service for:
We may refuse requests, restrict access, or remove content when reasonably necessary to address violations, security threats, provider restrictions, or legal obligations.
AI results may contain visual artifacts, inaccurate likenesses, unexpected movements, or other defects. We do not guarantee a particular resemblance, performance, duration, format, ranking, audience response, or viral outcome beyond any specification explicitly included in your purchase.
Any rights you may have in an output depend on applicable law, your input rights, and relevant provider terms. Outputs may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection. Paying for a generation does not clear third-party rights or automatically authorize commercial use.
The Service does not provide a licensed copy of "Outstanding" or a blanket license to other music, recordings, performances, logos, or likenesses. If you add audio using another platform, confirm that its permissions cover your intended use, particularly advertising and commercial publishing.
Video generation requires paid credits. We do not currently offer free generation. The prices, currency, credit amounts, billing interval, and applicable conditions shown when you purchase govern that purchase.
Credits are service units, not a bank balance, investment, or transferable currency. They cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law or expressly offered as a remedy.
The current generator calculates 720p tasks at 5 credits per second and 1080p tasks at 7 credits per second, with duration rounded up to whole seconds. Review the estimate before submitting. If rates change, the applicable cost must be shown before a new request is submitted; changes do not retrospectively reprice completed purchases or tasks.
Once submitted, a task may immediately consume provider resources. A result you dislike is not necessarily a technical failure. A retry may consume additional credits unless the interface states otherwise.
Available options may include one-time credit packs, monthly subscriptions, and annual subscriptions. A one-time purchase does not renew unless explicitly stated at checkout. Subscriptions renew according to the interval and price disclosed at purchase until canceled.
Annual billing may allocate credits through monthly grants rather than making the entire year's allocation available immediately. Review the plan description for the allocation schedule and expiry of each grant. Credits are subject to the validity period disclosed when purchased; unused credits can expire.
To cancel a subscription, use the management or cancellation instructions supplied by the payment provider, or email [email protected]. Canceling renewal does not by itself erase the already-paid service term or any entitlements that must remain available under your purchase terms or applicable law. Refunds and remaining credit access are handled under those terms and applicable law.
We will provide notice of material pricing or renewal changes where required. Mandatory cancellation and consumer rights remain available.
The current one-time credit packs state a 10-month validity period. Current subscription descriptions state 60-day validity for monthly credits and 90-day validity for annual-plan monthly grants. The disclosure for your actual purchase governs; these periods must not be shortened retroactively for existing grants.
Checkout may be provided by Stripe or Creem, as identified in the checkout flow. The provider's applicable payment terms and privacy policy also apply. We do not collect your full payment card number or security code through our application. Taxes and any additional charges must be disclosed where required.
Unless a purchase-specific policy or applicable law provides otherwise, used credits and completed generations are generally non-refundable. This does not exclude mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, refund, or other consumer remedies.
If a task fails technically, contact support with the account email and task identifier. The Service includes credit-reversal handling for recognized failed tasks, but a task status alone does not guarantee that every failure or interruption has already been reconciled. We may investigate and correct the balance or provide another remedy as appropriate. Restoring credits is distinct from issuing a cash refund.
For refund requests, duplicate charges, non-delivery, or billing errors, email [email protected] and provide the order identifier and a description of the issue. Do not send full card details. Refunds, where approved or required, are handled through the applicable payment provider. We review purchase status, credits used, task delivery, and any mandatory consumer rights. We will communicate the outcome; bank and provider processing times may differ. A support request does not itself cancel a subscription or confirm a cash refund.
The Service depends on third-party AI APIs, storage, authentication, payment systems, and network availability. Processing times vary, and a generation may be delayed or fail. We do not promise continuous availability or a specific turnaround time unless expressly included in an offer.
Download content you want to keep. Output and input links may expire or become unavailable. We do not promise permanent hosting, an indefinitely accessible generation history, or automatic deletion of every file after a fixed number of days. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion information.
Direct media links may be accessible to anyone who receives them. You are responsible for deciding where to share them.
We may change features or temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, provider changes, or compliance. Where changes materially affect purchased services, we will provide notice or a remedy where required.
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. Deleting an account does not necessarily cancel a separately managed subscription; request cancellation as well if applicable.
We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, or security threats. Paid balances, active subscriptions, retained records, and any refunds will be handled consistently with the reason for termination, purchase terms, and applicable law rather than automatically forfeited in every case.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or fitness for a particular creative purpose. You must review outputs before publishing or relying on them.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by your use of the Service. Where a liability cap is legally permitted, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it during the 12 months preceding the relevant event.
These limitations do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited. Statutory consumer rights and remedies take precedence over conflicting limitations.
If you believe an upload or output infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the relevant URL or task identifier, a description of the rights involved, and sufficient information to assess the request. Do not submit misleading ownership or infringement claims.
For service or billing disputes, contact us first so we can investigate. These Terms do not require you to waive access to courts, regulators, or dispute mechanisms available under mandatory law. Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined by the rules governing your transaction, including any mandatory protections available in your place of residence.
We may revise these Terms. The updated document will show a revised effective date, and we will provide additional notice or obtain agreement where required. Changes do not remove rights relating to earlier purchases or processing.
